Brilliant straw yellow in the glass with golden reflections. The nose is multi-layered: yellow pear, mandarin, some aniseed, Mediterranean herbs and fine yeast notes from the ageing process. The palate is dense yet straightforward, with ripe fruit, salty minerality and an almost chalky texture. The fine freshness carries this special Grillo into a long, subtly spicy finish with hints of citrus zest and white pepper. Family & Friends is no ordinary wine – it seeks out dialogue, remains in the memory and combines sophistication with emotion. A Sicilian white wine with attitude and origin, made for large tables, personal moments and long evenings with close family and friends.
Aromas of sliced white pineapple, lemon zest, pear, white pepper and mussels. Also some chalk. Ginger. Medium to full body, with lovely fruit and a deep underlying character of white pepper and celery salt. Intense finish. Lively and energetic on the finish.
