Onshore Cellars is proud to offer a selection of wines from one of the most renowned wine producers in the world - Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. This historic winery, located in the Burgundy region of France, is considered to be the pinnacle of winemaking excellence, producing some of the most sought-after and highly coveted wines in the world.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti has a rich history dating back to the 12th century, when the monks of the Abbaye de Saint-Vivant de Vergy were given the vineyard of La Romanée-Conti as a gift. Over the centuries, the land changed hands several times until it was finally acquired by the de Villaine and Leroy families in the 19th century. It was under the leadership of Aubert de Villaine that the estate truly flourished and became the iconic producer it is today.

The winery is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits region, famous for its Pinot Noir grapes, and is home to some of the most prestigious appellations in Burgundy, including Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Richebourg, and Echézeaux. The vineyards are meticulously maintained, with strict organic and biodynamic practices in place, resulting in wines that truly reflect the terroir of the region.

One of the most outstanding aspects of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is their commitment to quality over quantity. The estate produces a limited amount of wine each year, with only around 5,000 cases produced annually.
