New Build Yachts
A new build leaves the yard with every system commissioned, every finish signed off — and, too often, an empty cellar and a crew googling wine lists the week before the owner steps aboard. The cellar is the last system to be commissioned, and the only one guests will taste. We make it part of the plan, not an afterthought.
Capacity for the intended programme, cooling that holds a true cellar temperature in a Mediterranean engine-room summer, racking that keeps bottles silent in a seaway, and a sensible route from cellar to saloon — all of it is cheaper on the drawings than in a refit. We advise owners' teams, project managers and interior designers on exactly these questions, drawing on a decade of seeing what works (and what rattles) on yachts from 40 to 110 metres.
We build the opening cellar to the owner's brief — or help write the brief where there isn't one yet. Private use, charter, or undecided: we structure a core the owner loves plus a charter-ready layer any guest profile will enjoy, from more than 3,000 wines, champagnes and spirits in stock, with allocation access for the trophy bottles. It arrives racked, recorded and ready — the crew walk aboard to a working cellar, not a pallet of boxes.
Christening bottles, safe-passage cases, and the pours for the launch party — every yacht deserves to start her life properly. Tell us the date and the guest list; we will handle the rest.
A new build often means a new interior team. Our accredited WSET courses (Levels 1–3) and practical service coaching — decanting underway, glassware, cellar records, handover discipline — turn a green crew into one that pours with confidence on the first owner trip. Founded by an ex-Chief Stewardess and a Second Officer, we train the way crew actually work.
Once she is in commission we carry on as your supplier: cellar management, same-day dockside delivery on the Côte d'Azur, worldwide provisioning, and tax-free paperwork where the registration and programme qualify. One contact from yard to first charter — read how it works in The Finishing Touches.
Earlier than almost everyone does. Capacity, cooling, racking that holds bottles in a seaway, and service flow from cellar to saloon are far cheaper to get right on the drawings than in a refit. We advise owners' teams, project managers and interior designers on exactly these questions — then stock the result.
Yes. We build the first cellar to the owner's brief — or help write the brief — and deliver it racked, recorded and ready before handover. The crew walk aboard to a working cellar with inventory records from day one, not a pile of boxes.
With pleasure — christening bottles, safe-passage cases and the guest pours for the launch party. It is one of our favourite orders: every yacht deserves to start her life properly.
We build a two-layer cellar: a core the owner loves, plus a charter-ready layer of crowd-pleasers and by-the-glass options that any guest profile will enjoy. As the programme becomes clear, we rebalance — nothing is wasted.
Yes — accredited WSET courses (Levels 1–3) plus practical service coaching: decanting underway, glassware choices, cellar records and handover discipline. A new build with a new crew is exactly when that investment pays back fastest.
Tell us the yard, the delivery date and where the project stands — we will tell you what the cellar needs and when.
