Val Di Suga

Val Di Suga is a renowned wine producer located in the heart of Tuscany, in the picturesque region of Montalcino. Its wines are known for their exceptional quality and unique characteristics, making them a favorite among wine enthusiasts all over the world.

The story of Val Di Suga dates back to the 1960s when three friends, Pierluigi Fiock, Lucio del Soldato and Adriano Bambagioni, came together with a shared passion for winemaking. They combined their knowledge and expertise to create Val Di Suga, which literally translates to "Valley of Sugar," a name that reflects the sweet and luscious wines produced by the winery.

The winery is located in the southern part of Montalcino, in the province of Siena, and covers a total area of 60 hectares. The vines are planted on the rolling hills, with altitudes ranging from 300 to 500 meters above sea level. This unique terroir, along with the perfect Mediterranean climate, provides the ideal conditions for growing the Sangiovese grape, which is the main varietal used in Val Di Suga's wines.

Val Di Suga is most famous for its Brunello di Montalcino, a red wine made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. This wine is considered the pinnacle of Italian winemaking, and Val Di Suga's version is no exception. It is a full-bodied, complex wine with intense flavors of red fruits, tobacco, and spices. The winery also produces other red wines, such as Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, which are equally exceptional in quality.

In addition to red wines, Val Di Suga also produces a limited quantity of white wine, made from the local variety, Trebbiano. This wine, called Val Di Suga Bianco, is fresh, crisp, and aromatic, with notes of apple, pear
