Tenuta Monteti

Tenuta Monteti is a prestigious wine producer located in the heart of the picturesque Tuscan region in Italy. The estate covers 35 hectares of land, with 25 dedicated to vineyards and the remaining 10 to olive groves. The winery is situated in the Maremma appellation, a region known for its exceptional quality wines.

The history of Tenuta Monteti dates back to 1998 when three friends, Paolo Baratta, Fabio Chiarelotto, and Giovanni Puccini, decided to combine their passion for wine and create a winery that would represent the best of Tuscan terroir. Their goal was to produce wines that reflected the unique characteristics of the Maremma region, while also incorporating modern winemaking techniques.

The estate's vineyards are situated on rolling hills that benefit from the Mediterranean climate, with warm and sunny days and cool nights. The terroir is characterized by sandy clay soils, which are ideal for growing red grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot.

Tenuta Monteti produces a range of exceptional wines, including its flagship wine, Monteti, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. This wine has received numerous accolades and is considered one of the best Super Tuscans in the Maremma region. The winery also produces two other red blends, Tinata and Caburnio, as well as a white wine, ALEATICO.

The winery's commitment to quality is reflected in its careful selection of grapes, which are hand-harvested and sorted before being gently pressed. The wines are then aged in French oak barrels for a period of 12 to 24 months before being bottled.

In addition to producing exceptional wines, Tenuta Monteti is also dedicated to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. The estate is certified organic, and the winery uses renewable energy sources and practices water conservation.
