Sforno Winery is a red wine producer based in Mendoza, Argentina. The winery produces kosher-certified wines, placing it within a small but established category of Argentine producers making wines that meet Jewish dietary law requirements under rabbinical supervision.

Mendoza is Argentina's most significant wine region, situated at the eastern foothills of the Andes at elevations that can range from roughly 600 to over 1,400 metres above sea level. The combination of high altitude, intense sunlight, wide diurnal temperature swings, and arid conditions — with irrigation fed by Andean snowmelt — creates an environment well suited to producing concentrated, structured red wines. Malbec, originally from southwestern France, has become the defining grape of the region, typically expressing dark fruit, violet notes, and firm but approachable tannins in this terroir.

Sforno's available range includes a Reserva-level Malbec from the 2021 vintage, blended with Syrah. The Reserva designation in Argentina generally indicates a wine that has undergone additional aging relative to the producer's entry-level offerings, and the inclusion of Syrah alongside Malbec is a stylistic choice that can add spice, depth, and structure to the blend.
