Onshore Cellars is proud to offer a selection of wines from the renowned wine producer, Domaine de la Janasse, located in the beautiful Rhône Valley region of France. This family-owned winery has a long-standing reputation for producing exceptional wines that truly showcase the terroir of the region.

Established in 1973 by Aimé Sabon, Domaine de la Janasse has been passed down through the generations and is now run by Aimé's children, Christophe and Isabelle. The family's dedication to quality and their commitment to traditional winemaking practices have made them a household name among wine enthusiasts.

The estate covers 90 hectares of vineyards, spread across the appellations of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages. Each plot is carefully tended to by hand, with a focus on sustainable and organic practices. The diverse terroir of the Rhône Valley, with its mix of clay, limestone, and pebbles, allows for the production of a wide range of grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Viognier.

One of the standout wines from Domaine de la Janasse is their Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. This wine is a true reflection of the region, with its rich and complex flavors of dark fruits, herbs, and spices. It has a full-bodied yet elegant structure, with smooth tannins and a long finish. It is no surprise that this wine has received numerous accolades and high ratings from top wine critics.
