Domaine De La Croix Senaillet

Domaine de la Croix Senaillet is a renowned wine producer located in the heart of the Mâconnais region in Burgundy, France. The estate has been in the hands of the Paquet family for four generations, and is currently run by Nicolas and David Paquet. The Domaine de la Croix Senaillet covers a total of 27 hectares, with vineyards spread across some of the most prestigious appellations in the Mâconnais, such as Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, and Mâcon-Davayé. The estate's vineyards are mainly planted with Chardonnay, the signature grape of the region, but also produce some limited quantities of Gamay and Pinot Noir. The Paquet brothers are committed to working in harmony with nature, and their vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic, ensuring the use of only natural and sustainable methods in the production of their wines.

The Mâconnais region is known for its limestone-rich soils, which give the wines a distinct minerality and complexity. The Paquet brothers take great care in the winemaking process, using traditional techniques to produce wines that are a true reflection of the terroir. After hand-harvesting the grapes, they are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, preserving the purity and freshness of the fruit.
